Latest 55th Reunion Information
This page and the current postings listed on the Reunion Information section of this Class Website provide the latest information on the Class of ’71 55th Reunion, which is scheduled for 8 to 11 October 2026.
Reunion registration. Perry Martini sent an all-class email on 28 May 2026 to announce start of registration. The reunion committee encourages you to familiarize yourself with the Registration Procedure and other postings prior to completing registration.
Hotels
• All 85 rooms at the DoubleTree (DT), our reunion headquarters, are booked.
• Some rooms at the Hilton Garden Inn are available in our block. The hotel will make additional rooms available if the entire block is filled. To book a room at the discounted rate, go to:
• The DT has ample free parking, even for those not staying at the hotel, to attend reunion events and catch buses to the Yard and football stadium.
Transportation
• Buses will run from the reunion hotels to the Yard at various times for the Memorial Service, Supe’s address, parade, and to the stadium for the tailgate and football game.
• Buses will be equipped to accommodate attendees with mobility needs. Please notify the reunion committee if you or a guest need accommodation.
• A schedule for the buses will be posted later.
Welcome bag and ship’s store
• The committee has worked with the Midshipmen’s Store to identify, design and price items to include in welcome bags for attendees, and in an online portal for individual purchase by classmates and guests, even those not attending the reunion.
• The online items will include a shipping charge (if the order is less than $150.01) so the Mid Store can ship the items directly to the purchaser.
• Online items will include hats and visors, shirts, quarter-zip pullovers and Yeti mugs with a Navy ’71 logo designed for the reunion, along with all the other items available for sale at navyonline.com.
• The committee will make these items available for sale in early summer.
